Hi, my name is Melissa Hernandez proud mom of three amazing kids (ages 6, 9, and 12), fashion lover, and now, the heart behind Luvly Meli’s Boutique.

I was born and raised in Oak Cliff, Texas, in a neighborhood where resources were limited, but love and resilience were abundant. My parents gave me everything they could, and while we didn’t always have much, we never went without. From a young age, I knew I wanted more for myself, and I was determined to create a different path.

At 17, I left high school and moved to North Carolina with my children’s father, who was in the military. Becoming a teen mom at 18 changed my world it gave me the motivation to go back to finish high school while raising a newborn. I graduated, pursued cosmetology, and later trained as a medical assistant. Life wasn’t easy at one point, I was a single mom of two, working two jobs, juggling eviction notices, and dealing with car breakdowns. Those years taught me grit, hustle, and the meaning of never giving up.

Eventually, I met my husband, and together we had our daughter. I took time to be a stay-at-home mom, which brought joy but also made me realize I had lost pieces of myself along the way. When I returned to work in the medical field, I was grateful for the stability, but I felt a deeper calling.

That calling? Fashion. I’ve always loved styling outfits, experimenting with looks, and helping others feel confident in what they wear. So, with a little savings and a whole lot of determination, I decided why not share my style with the world? That’s how Luvly Meli’s Boutique was born.

This is more than just a boutique it’s my dream, my comeback, and a celebration of resilience. I invite you to join me on this journey. Your support means the world to me, and with it, I hope to grow, expand, and inspire others who might be chasing their own dreams.
